Two live fission yeast cells, separated by a septum, just after mitosis.

The nuclei have moved to the tips of the cells and have not yet
repositioned to the center of each one. The nuclear protein, Bis1,
is shown in red (YFP tag) and the nuclear envelope and plasma membrane
protein, Ish1, in green (GFP tag). The two proteins interact with each other
as shown by two hybrid analysis and coIP. This presumably occurs
at the nuclear matrix/nuclear envelope interface.
